Marta Rincón

Marta Rincón Areitio (San Sebastián, 1972) holds a degree in Art History from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a Master's degree in Museology from the Fundación Camuñas and a postgraduate degree in Cultural Resource Management (Universidad de Deusto). Since the beginning of her professional activity she has focused on international projects based on the promotion of Spanish contemporary art abroad, in this sense she has collaborated in international projects of the Instituto de la Juventud (Injuve), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, the Sociedad Estatal para la Acción Cultural Exterior (SEACEX) in which she has directed the contemporary art department since 2005.

In 2011, the organisation changed its name to Acción Cultural Española, where she is currently in charge of Visual Arts, Architecture and Design. In the private sphere, together with Rocío Gracia Ipiña, Sergio Rubira and Marta de la Torriente, she is a founding partner of RMS La Asociación, a cultural production agency created in 1999 in Madrid to curate, produce, promote and disseminate contemporary art.
